Charles Emerson Griffin

Charles Emerson Griffin, son of Albert Baily and Abigail Varney Griffin was born 10 May 1836 in Essex, Chittenden County, Vermont. His parents moved to Monson Geauga (Lake) County, Ohio where, in 1842 his family was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was at this time his parents only living child, two older brothers having died in infancy.
